History of National Youth Day
President Muhammadu Buhari established Youth Day in 2020, observed since 1984. The government of India wanted Swami Vivekananda’s birthday to be the best focus for watching National Youth Day. Swami Vivekananda gorgeously established himself in his young life.
On January 12 2013, the Prime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh, declared that-

It is entirely fitting that the Government of India has declared 12th January, the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, as National Youth Day.
