International Day of Women and Girls in Science-2024
“To rise to the challenges of the 21st Century, we need to harness our full potential. That requires dismantling gender stereotypes. On this International Day of Women and Girls in Science, let’s pledge to end the gender imbalance in science“ With the invitation of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. People celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on 11 February yearly. In 2024, the United Nations is celebrating the day to awaken the race of women with more quality. However, don’t try to be involved mainly in science. This is time to wake up.
The United Nations Women, a member of the UN, has already taken the necessary steps to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. Radio, TV, Newspapers, Magazines, the Online world, and Social Media are mainly ready to celebrate the awakening event. Let’s avoid Gender Discrimination and establish Antonio Guterres’s dream.
The Challenges of 21 Century
Do you want to be involved in science? The world has tried to reach the Global Sustainable Goal (SDG) at 9. Politicians and scientists, both female and male, have attempted to achieve this goal. Therefore, females are less involved in science than males. You know that more than 30% of the population is involved in science. The lack of application of women in science is one of the main reasons for facing more problems in the current world. Gender discrimination, as well as the weak-mind of females, are the main problems to raise into the satisfied mood in science.
Without the strong ambition of women besides men, it could be critical to earning not only in SDG but also in current challenges. As we are a member of Earth, we should take the necessary steps to harness our full potential. Do you want this change? If you answer yes, keeping the peace of the world’s people, you should be involved in science. You should set your mind strong first; then, you can get involved in science by breaking any discrimination.
We included some challenges of the 21st Century, which help to involve females in science. We better know that to solve any problems, we should indicate those problems first, which resist raising science development.
The Challenges-
- Low carbon energy.
- Climate change.

It is almost impossible to solve those challenges by only the male. All the valuable things in the world have been done by both females & males. It is also needed to keep Women & Girls in Good Health in any sector. As a result, a female should be involved in more research in science so that people get a simple life. We should promise to end the gender imbalance in science on this International Day of Women and Girls in Science- 2024.
There are more intelligent women & girls worldwide who could be involved & research like-minded topics in science than men to lead a peaceful and simple life.
